4 essential Process – To Get Right Candidate For Right Jobs

When a company hires a candidate, they have this point in their mind they are hiring the right employee. There are several steps involved in a job hiring process.

With the passage of time the internet has gained importance and is helping companies in offering jobs to a large number of the job seekers. Whenever a company hires a candidate, they have this point in their mind they are hiring the right employee. There are several steps which are involved in a job hiring process. For example, reviewing of applications, selecting the right and cream layered candidate for the interview, analysis of the reference check etc. are performed in order to select the best candidate from rest. The Human Resources Manager uses the following steps to hire the best candidate so that it becomes an asset to the organization.

Now let’s have a look at how the job hiring process is conducted

  • Reviewing job applications

This process includes reviewing of applications that have been received to determine whether a candidate possesses the skills, educations, experience or other qualifications required for the job. If everything falls in place then the candidate is called for the interview.

  • Screening round of candidates

It is the next step in the hiring process of a candidate and it generally involves testing the candidate for skills or knowledge related to the job to determine whether the candidate is qualified for the position or not. It may include a skills test, personality tests, physical test etc. The Human Resources Manager selects many candidates and sends them all for the testing round. As soon as the result of this round is declared, then the HR narrows down the selection process to the fewer candidates.

  • Interview of the candidates

Now the interview of the selected candidates is conducted. The interview is the meeting between the job seeker and employer to evaluate whether the candidate has the right qualifications for the job or not. Although the testing provides the very same idea interview make it clearer as it is a face-to-face round process. During the interview, one can be asked about their previous work experience, strengths, weaknesses, short-term goals, long-term goals etc. Try to answer all the questions that have been asked from you with a smile on your face. And continuously maintain an eye contact with the interviewer. 

  • Selection of candidates

Those who clear the entire round go to the next round through the reference check. Employee background with the previous company is generally checked to get the better picture of the candidate. 

Once you clear all the rounds such as aptitude round, technical, GD/PI round then you are hired.
